How do I know when to call?

One of the hardest parts in dealing with a breakup and getting your ex back is figuring out when you can call them. When and how much to call is a question that burns holes in the minds of broken-hearters everywhere.
1. You obviously still love them, and just want to tell them, right?
2. You just want another chance. Is that too much to ask?
2. You just want them to know what you really think. What’s wrong with that?
It is these three thoughts that not only don’t win your ex back, but end up killing any future chance you have with them!!
You are on a break or a break-up for a reason. That is, there are unresolved issues that need to be sorted out. You both need time to figure out why one of your isn’t completely happy. Things were great with you once, so don’t sabotage this much needed time apart by turning into a stalker, to get your ex back!
You guys loved each other for a reason, give some space and allow that reason to resurface in both of you.
Do this for yourself:
- start doing things and activities you used to love and do before you guys got together
- Take some quite time (hiking, yoga, meditation, etc) to ponder on your own identity, and what you really want in all aspects of your life. (DO NOT think about your ex during these times. This is personal time)
- Work to stop future projecting yourself with your ex. The only way to get them back will be to refrain from thinking about and depending on a future you don’t even have yet
THEN, you can start to work you way back in. Once you have gotten ahold of yourself, and given your ex some space, you can re-approach them from a healthier and more successful standpoint.
- Call to chat on the phone about random stuff for a few minutes, then hang up (politely)
- Invite her out with you and a bunch of mutual friends to a no-expectations hang out. Just be calm and comfortable being with them in a social environment as two single people. DO NOT BE WEIRD OR BITTER!!
- Invite them out for a drink after work. Hang for a bit, then call it a night
These are tactics that will work, because your ex wants to get back with you too! Just get back in touch with yourself first so your ex can complete you, and not define you. Then you can enter back into contact as a grounded, non-needy, happy person. And you’re set!

I don’t mean get back with him i mean get back at him. My best friend just got broken up with by her boyfriend. He said he liked her so much and then he breaks up with her over IM because he said he liked someone else. I wana knoww how to get back at him cuz she realle wants to.

First off I'll start with I am going to small claims court once I get this ready.
Then what happened. I borrowed money to my ex for bills. It comes it like 1100 plus. I know of that much in checks. We lived together from most if it. We had our bills separated. He would pay the house payment on his place. I would cover all the bills and groceries which is the same or more. We were not married. Our money is separate. Those times it was one of those needs to pay or get kicked out. One time his mom helped me I paid her back even though he said he would handle it. All the checks I wrote to him, he agreed to pay me back. I have the checks. Is that good enough? Should I try it and see what happens. His names are on the checks. And he signed for it.
I also have every check/bill with credit card I paid for the place. I should only need it if he says he wants money for the bills right?
For my property a few questions here. For small claims do I have to put down the total I paid back then or now? I know chances are I won’t get it back because I don’t have proof right?
I had to pay his cell phone bill because it was on my plan after we broke up. My phone almost got shut off because it was so high. I kicked him off after an incident and when he said he wasn’t sure he had money. He agreed to pay anyway. I have the bill and his name is on it could I get it back?
I also paid for him to get out of jail. A bonds man I have that. Another promise. Could I get that back?
Enter the total amount owed to you. Then present whatever proof you have in court. If the judge will decide in your favor, he/she may award you the total amount you have asked for or whatever amount you can prove. So go for the max.
Chances are that he will probably not show up for court, therefore you win by default without havin to say a word.
Now comes the hard part. Collecting your judgment. HOw will you get it from him?? Does he have a steady job? if so you will have to pay additional filing fees for garnishment. You also can attach a lien on to any property he has. You will also have to pay filing fees for that. But if he has no income or property, then what you really have is a worthless judgment that you may not ever be able to collect on. But what you have won is a lesson for future relationships. Never loan what may come to what you may never see again.

My ex-husband hasn't worked or paid child support in over 7 years. He finally got a job and his refunds were taken from him due to back child support. My children are on medi-caid, but no other assistance. Shouldn't I be entitled to that money? Where does it go, and how do I try to get it?
Normally the state only takes your child support if you are on foodstamps or TANF, not medicaid. So yes, you would get sent that money, unless he owes the IRS or state for previous years, they get their money first. But it takes a while. The IRS holds onto any tax offsets for at least 3 months before releasing them to the child support agency, just in case an injured spouse form is filed, or there is another problem. Then the child support agency gets them, applies them to his account, and sends it off to you. That can take another month in some states. So it all depends on when he filed his taxes.
